Hi bloggerts!
Bit of busy week - not quite as much running as I would like. I was in Vancouver on Tuesday and Wednesday, and in Niagara Falls on Friday and Saturday. Back at it this week before yet another road trip and end of month vacation. Today was our second and final 10 km run with the Beaches Running Room 1/2 Marathon Clinic. This upcoming week we start to get into longer runs, 12 km or more and we add hills! Yah!
Being July in Toronto means that today was pretty warm without much breeze. I ran around the middle of the pack and there was a good turnout in spite of the heat and what can only be described as a gruelling hill up Kingston Road at the 6 km point. Well done to all the 1/2 Marathoners out there.
So, today's song of the run was Picasso's Last Words by Wings. Great song, great band.
Next up, Tuesday's recovery run, Wednesday's hills and another trip out west.
Blog at you soon!
